Since 1984, the Rashi Foundation has been working to promote social mobility and equal opportunity in Israel’s geo-social periphery. Right after October 7th, UJA and the Rashi Foundation specifically partnered to strengthen Sderot in the areas of education, resilience, and employment.
Thanks to our community’s donations to UJA, the Rashi Foundation has been able to provide top-quality education for students in low-performing elementary schools, build the capacity of municipalities to expand employment opportunities, offer assistance to young children who suffered trauma during the war and are at developmental risk, and so much more.
